The shared city
One Lagos, everyone in it. Here is how the live multiplayer world works — the crowd, the hotspots, and the events you can take part in.
A single living Lagos
Lagos Life runs as one shared world. The top bar shows a live online count — typically tens of thousands of players at once — and a running total of all-time visits in the tens of millions. Everyone is competing in and contributing to the same economy at the same time.

Social hotspots on the map
People cluster at specific places. Worth a trip when you want company:
- Quilox (Victoria Island) — the nightclub; late-night crowd.
- The casino — high-risk, high-energy social spot.
- Church & mosque — community gathering places, very Lagos.
- Markets & event venues — busy by day, good for bumping into people.
See Things to Do With Friends for how to actually spend time together at these.
Civic life: you can vote
Polling Unit 001
Lagos Life has a voting system — head to the Polling Unit to cast your vote, generally before 20:00 on Sunday. It is part of what makes the shared world feel like a real society rather than a solo grind. (There is even a Governor race you can run in — more on that in the wiki.)
Competition is part of the fun
Because it is one economy, you are competing with real people for jobs, property and status. That rivalry — someone outbidding you for a flat, a friend climbing the career ladder faster — is a big part of what keeps players coming back.
